Paleface Adios

Temora has always been a solid town for the breeding of pacers, but the golden era arrived in the early 1970's when the famous Paleface Adios grabbed the attention of the trotting fraternity.
Owned by Mrs. Shirley Pike, he was dubbed the "Temora Tornado". A prolific winner, he was dearly loved by trotting addicts throughout Australia. Paleface Adios is remembered in the form of a life-sized monument of the famous horse and driver, Col Pike, in the park in Hoskins Street Temora.
