Hidden Talents

Handling wood and sensing its textures and fragrances brings to mind the pleasures of bygone age, when the art of woodworking was commonplace.
In our technology age, these skills are being lost at an increasing rate. Ken Smith, a Temora Shire Councillor is practicing the art of woodturning on his property "Caramar", Thanowring Road, Temora. This local craftsman is trying to preserve these skills and enthusiastically teaches his craft at the local Community College. Ken Smith "Caramar" RMB 178 Thanowring Road TEMORA NSW 2666
