Seized Animals

If you find your companion animal at the Animal Shelter you need to get in contact with the Council on 69801100 or go to the Council Office at 105 Loftus St and find out what the fees are to release your companion animal.
Fees and Charges
$20 Impounding
$12 Maintenance per day
$40 Microchipping (if applicable)
Lifetime Registration (if applicable)
$150 Non-desexed dog or cat
$40 Desexed dog or cat (proof required)
$15 Desexed dog or cat owned by a pensioner (proof required)
$40 Dog or cat owned by a registered breeder (proof required)
All fees are to be paid in full at Council prior to the animal(s) release. Proof of payment needs to be seen by the Council Ranger at the Council's Animal Shelter prior to release.
