What can I do about someone's barking dog(s)?

If a neighbours dog is causing a nuisance with consistent barking or other behavioural problems, your first option is to speak to the animal's owner about the problem and try to resolve it between yourselves. Most neighbours are more than willing to assist in these matters and are prepared to do their best to resolve the problem before it becomes serious. If this fails, you should contact the Council, preferably in writing, describing the problem, the steps you have already taken to resolve the problem and of course, the address of the offending animal. Council will then investigate the matter and try to find a solution that satisfies all parties.
