Notification of Draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026-2030 and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework
Temora Shire Council gives notice of the public exhibition of the Draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026-2030 and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework.
The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2026–2030 sets out Council’s actions to remove barriers, promote equity and embed inclusion across all Council functions. It aligns with Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Framework and responds directly to the lived experiences and priorities identified through the Temora Community Inclusion Consultations (November 2025) and the Temora Listens Survey.
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework sets out Council's commitment to foster a community where everyone feels respected, values and empowered to participate fully in civic life. It clearly and intentionally, provides the foundation that guides how we think, plan, and act as a Council and as a community.
A copy of the draft plan, framework and supporting documents may also be inspected at Council’s offices, Loftus Street, Temora during office hours.
Any written submissions on the draft Draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026-2030 or Draft Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework, addressed to the General Manager, are required to be received by Temora Shire Council, either by mail or email temshire@temora.nsw.gov.au by Monday 23 March 2026.
