Committee Meeting Livestream

Committee Meeting Livestream

Live streaming allows you to watch Committee meetings online without the need to attend in person. This provides greater access to Council decision-making and debate, and improves accessibility for those who may find it difficult to attend due to timing or location.

Committee meetings can be viewed from any PC or mobile device using an internet browser.

If you choose to attend a Committee meeting in person, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility that your image and/or voice may be broadcast to the public.

Webcasts of Committee meetings are subject to Council copyright. Recording, copying, reproducing, transmitting, or reusing any part of a webcast is not permitted without the prior written consent of the General Manager.

The webcast material must not be used to misrepresent, ridicule or cause detriment to another person or for the purposes of satire or advertising.

Under Council’s Code of Meeting Practice, recordings must remain publicly available on Council’s website for at least 12 months after the meeting, or for the balance of the Council’s term (whichever is longer).

Council’s current practice is to retain meeting recordings indefinitely (i.e. longer than the minimum period). This practice may be reviewed from time to time.

Recordings are not made of any part of a meeting that is closed to the public.

Temora Shire Council acknowledges the Wiradjuri people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this filming takes place and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
