RSPCA
If you have witnessed animal cruelty, including neglect or abandonment, you should report it via phone or online form to the RSPCA Inspectorate team.

Do I need to Register and Microchip my cat or dog?
In NSW, all cats and dogs, other than exempt cats and dogs, must be microchipped by 12 weeks of age or before being sold or given away, whichever happens first and must be registered by six months of age.
How many dogs can I keep?
You can keep four dogs in a residential area.
If you wish to keep more than four dogs, you may apply for approval, by picking up a form from the Council Office and submitting it after completing the information required.
What do I do if my pet has been seized?
If your animal has been seized and placed in the Companion Animal Shelter, you will need to contact Council and pay any fees before it can be release.
