From July 1st 2021, Temora Shire Council will comply with the NSW Government directive to provide all planning services online.

Council is committed to making this transition from a paper-based process to an online method as simple as possible for the community.

The online service will allow applicants to access planning services and information from anywhere at any time. This is a convenient alternative to paper-based transactions that can only take place during business hours.

In order to use the service, applicants  must first have a Service NSW account.  Residents may already have an account through other NSW Government programs, such as Dine & Discover and Active & Creative Kids vouchers.

The ePlanning program allows users to submit a Development Application (DA) online through the Planning Portal. Council may review the DA and request to receive additional documents before making a determination. Applicants will be notified of the result of their application by email.

Once a DA or Complying Development Certificate (CDC) is lodged, applicants will be notified by email of the relevant application fees. Applicants can choose to pay online via a bank transfer payment, or by visiting Council’s office during business hours to pay by debit, credit card or cash.

Applicants without access to a computer can utilise the computers at Temora Library. Those requiring assistance to lodge an application online can book an appointment with Council staff in the planning kiosk.

Potential applicants are still strongly encouraged to make an appointment to discuss their proposed application with planning staff in a pre-lodgement consultation in person, by phone or by email.

You can access information, how-to guides and instruction videos about the new procedures on our website at: www.temora.nsw.gov.au/Building-and-Planning/Development-Application

To book an appointment to receive assistance at the planning kiosk, phone 6980 1100 during business hours.
