Service NSW

Service NSW is here to help businesses impacted by COVID-19. They're working with federal, state, and local government and the private sector to bring together all the support and services available to assist small businesses. Including:

2021 COVID-19 Business Grants
A one-off payment of up to $15,000 to eligible businesses, sole traders, and not-for-profit organisations affected by the current restrictions. 

2021 COVID-19 Micro-Business Grants
Fortnightly payments of $1500 for eligible businesses with a turnover between $30K and $75K.

JobSaver
Fortnightly payments to help maintain employee headcount.

Grants & Loans
Grants, loans, and financial assistance.

Fees & Charges Rebate
Up to $1500 rebate to help pay for government fees and charges.

Hotel Accommodation Support Package
Tier 1: For accommodation premises that have had a cancellation of 10 room nights or less, there is a grant of $2,000
Tier 2: For accommodation premises that have had a cancellation of 11 room nights or more, there is a grant of $5,000

Protections for commercial tenants and landlords.

Assistance Finder
Complete a 2-minute questionnaire to get a list of benefits and services in health, wellbeing, employment, skills and training, food, housing, and finances, tailored specifically for your business.

 

Federal Government

 

Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment
Support if you can't earn an income because you must self-isolate or quarantine, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.

COVID-19 Disaster Payment
A lump sum payment to help workers earn income due to a lockdown, hotspot or period of restricted movement.

JobMaker
An incentive for businesses to employ additional job seekers aged 16 to 35 years.

Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements
Support for employers who engage a new Australian apprentice.

Instant Asset Write-Off
Claim an immediate deduction for the business portion of the cost of an asset in the year the asset is first used or installed ready for use.

Backing Business Investment
Deduct the cost of depreciating assets at an accelerated rate.

SME Loan Recovery Scheme
If you received the JobKeeper Payment between 4 January and 28 March, you may be eligible for a business loan.

Banks COVID-19 Relief Program
Support to defer loan repayments and waive certain banking fees for small businesses impacted by the pandemic.
