Covid Update November 16th 2021

A message from Mayor Rick Firman:

"Chief Executive Officer of MLHD, Mrs Jill Ludford, has called me this morning to update us on our Covid numbers."

"An individual, who is isolating in the Temora Shire, has returned a confirmed positive test for Covid-19."

"This case is linked to a known case and all close contacts have been notified and are in the process of testing and isolating."

"The individual in question, who is fully vaccinated, monitored themselves for symptoms and got tested and isolated, just as the authorities recommend. They have done all they can to prevent the spread of the virus."

"Once again we remind residents to be alert, but not alarmed."

"It is important that we continue to monitor for symptoms and should you be experiencing even the slightest of symptoms please get tested. A testing clinic is held every morning at the Temora & District Hospital. Please phone 6980 0200 to book."

"Again, we are truly thankful to those doing the right thing. Our vaccination rates are very pleasing and the vast majority of our community are doing their best to help prevent the spread of the virus. I urge us all to keep up the good work."
