Difficulty paying Rates or other Council charges

Council understands that financial difficulties can happen. If you're struggling, please contact us early on 02 6980 1100 — we may be able to arrange a payment plan that suits your situation.

We’re required to recover outstanding rates and charges, but if we hear from you, we can work with you to avoid unnecessary stress or costs.

Council also has a Debt Recovery & Hardship Assistance Policy(PDF, 356KB) to support those experiencing genuine hardship. All conversations are confidential and handled with care.
